東石漁人碼頭因抓寶人數太多，周遭車輛違停情形嚴重，朴子警分局為確保行車安全並維護駕駛人的權益，對於停放在車道、分隔島的車輛共開出10張罰單，對於行車玩寶可夢的駕駛人，警方納入重點告發勤務。

朴子警分局交通組長黃榮元指出，對於違停在紅線、禁止臨停區的車輛，警方都是先勸導，如果勸導不聽才由警方開單告發，到目前為止，警方在東石漁人碼頭附近開出的10張罰單，全部都是違停在車道或分隔島的車輛，這項告發勤務會一直持續，汽車每次罰款900元，機車600元。

另外，因從海埔地要通往東石漁人碼頭的多條道路，經常有精靈出現，很多汽、機車駕駛人經常一邊開車、一邊抓寶，非常危險，這部分警方也將納入取締重點，並由員警到漁人碼頭內懸掛宣導布條。警方強調，只要一查獲，每次可罰300至3000元。
